In recognition of the incredible player Jackie Robinson was the Los Angeles Dodgers celebrated the 60th anniversary of his “first day” by donning the very jersey number Jackie wore. The entire team wore the MLB-retired number 42 in respect to the great accomplishments of Jackie. This unique collectible features an 8x10 photo capturing the moment when the players were lined up prior to the game and they are all wearing #42 jerseys with the 60th Anniversary painted in the grass. Another 8x10 photo taken before the historic game is included featuring Jackie Robinson prior to his 1st MLB Game on the steps of the dugout with Pee Wee Reese, Spider Jorgensen and Eddie Stankey. Double Matted with the photos is a piece of a Jackie Robinson Game Used Bat and a 24KT Gold overlay Brooklyn Dodgers Coin measuring 1.5” in diameter. A numbered Certificate of Authenticity is matted between both coins, this is a limited edition of only 500 is presented in a 16” x 22” frame. It is officially licensed by MLB and MLBPA.
